Dear parent/ carer,
Re: Safer Internet Day – Tuesday 11th February
I am writing to inform you that on Tuesday 11th February, we will be taking part in Safer Internet Day, a global initiative that promotes the safe and responsible use of technology. This year’s theme, ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online‘”, encourages young people to develop positive online habits, stay safe, and think critically about their digital interactions.
Throughout the day and week, students will participate in age-appropriate activities and discussions designed to help them understand key online safety topics, such as privacy, cyberbullying, and responsible social media use. We encourage you to continue these conversations at home to reinforce the importance of staying safe online.
To support you in this, we recommend visiting:

Thank you for your ongoing support in keeping our children safe in the digital world. If you have any questions or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
Yours sincerely,
Vic O’Farrell
