Unfortunately this week there has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the school. As result some students and staff have had to self isolate. All parents/carers of the students in the bubble have been informed, so unless you have received contact from the school your child is not affected by the bubble closure and is expected in school.
As a school we are following government guidance, as parents and carers please support us by –
- Continuing to undertake twice-weekly Lateral Flow Testing and reporting the result to the NHS and informing school of any positive tests.
- Self-isolating for 10 days if you are informed you are a close contact of a person who was tested positive for Covid-19.
- Immediate self-isolation if your child or anyone in your household develops any of the three classic Covid-19 symptoms (a high temperature; a new continuous cough or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste). The person affected should book a PCR test via the NHS.
- Encouraging your child to wear a face mask in communal areas within school (further guidance around face masks may be issued)
